Prepare to be in great awe of our magnificent cats
Join one of our professional guides on a tour of the Sanctuary to see and meet some of our resident cats. You will learn about their conservation status, how they are thriving in the wild and also about the strategies in place to protect them.
You will see how we take care of our cats on an individual basis delivering the best care possible to each and every one of them. You will also be able to get up close to our animals, with a chance to take photos and hand feed two big cats.
Access to restricted areas and hand feeds are for participants aged 16 and over.
On arrival you will be greeted and asked to read sign health and safety in our welcome centre before venturing out to see the cats. You will be guided into restricted areas to see the cats and take photos.
Your tour will conclude with your hand feeds, this can generally be a big cat of your choice, there may be occasions where this may not be possible but most of the time, there are no restrictions.

The Big Cat Sanctuary is pleased to announce the newest addition to the family, Kuda, a Sri Lankan Rusty Spotted Cat. Kuda is 5 years old and was born on the 30th of April 2018 at Hamerton Zoo Park. He joined us on Tuesday 13th February after a smooth 3-hour journey from Hamerton.
